"You're a witch! A servant of the Devil!" The villagers would shout.
After the colonists began to populate the thirteen colonies, something unusual started occurring in a village known as Salem, in the colony of Massachusetts in 1692. It all began when two young girls exhibited peculiar behaviors which were diagnosed as witchcraft by a superstitious doctor. This diagnosis caused everyone to act out of clouded judgement and to accuse each other. During the ensuing trials, numerous injustices were inflicted upon the residents of Salem. Countless victims were violated of their rights in the process.
